Where do our feelings live? Why do we have feelings? Do other people have the same feelings as me? We all experience many kinds of feelings -- anger, sadness, fear, joy, anxiety, grief, and more. Emotions have physiological responses that range in intensity through survival reactions, pleasurable experiences, and our day-to-day lives.
The language of our feeling sensations is not limited to extreme states. It can be tuned into intentionally and is ever present. Sometimes our sensations crash like waves upon our shores. Other times our sensations slow to a cool breeze across a prairie. This ongoing exploration draws from the field of somatic psychology to create a catalog exploring the landscapes of our emotional diasporas.
